How to enroll in an ARRL online course:

Before registering please review the information provided on our online course overview page where you will find FAQs, Policies for Online Courses and full course descriptions.

Register - To register you must be logged in to the ARRL website, as either a member or guest, by using the "Login" button on the top of each page (or click here). If you are not already a member or guest you can set up an online account

EC-001 and EC-001-S	Introduction to Emergency Communication Course Overview: EC-001 courses follow the schedule listed in the Registration section below. To learn more about the course, including pre-requisites, click here The traditional EC-001 course is offered in an on-demand format and can be started and completed at any time, and students have access to an experienced mentor. No additional course materials are needed. The self-guided EC-001-S version is offered in an on-demand format and can be started and completed at any time. No additional course materials are needed. Completion of EC-001/EC-001-S is required for completion of the Level 2 portion of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES) Emergency Communicator Individual Task Book.
